Octopus Personnel has opened a new office in Moordown, Dorset as part of its expansion strategy.  The firm also has branches in Gillingham and Yeovil.

Law firm Williscroft has opened a new office in Keighley, Yorkshire, in response to an increase in people looking for help due to legal aid changes. The company’s on-going growth could create employment opportunities.

Opens new premises - further expansion planned - potential new jobs

Scientific instrument manufacturer Hiden Isochema has opened a 15,000 sq. ft. headquarters, laboratories and manufacturing facility in Warrington, Cheshire. Hiden now has two facilities at Gemini Business Park where it plans further expansion, potentially creating new jobs.

New staff appointments in Cassons

Lancashire-based Cassons Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers is strengthening its team with five new appointments.  The expansion follows a sustained period of business growth for the firm.

New Worcestershire radiotherapy centre means potential new jobs

Lend Lease has secured the contract to build a 22m radiotherapy centre for the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. Lend Lease designed and built the original hospital, which opened in 2002, and continues to provide the estate management services to the hospital. The new contract could create employment opportunities.

Timpson opening 100 branches with potential new jobs

Timpson, the key cutter and shoe repairer, is opening 100 new UK stores by taking space in supermarkets and is expanding into the locksmith business. The expansion is expected to create new jobs. Turnover increased 3% to £136.5m in the year to September 2012 but pre-tax profits fell to £10.1m from £12.9m.

30 new jobs in discount brand 99p Stores with Ayr Central opening

Discount brand 99p Stores plans to invest £250,000 at Ayr Central creating 30 new jobs.  This will be the first store in Scotland; the company currently has 220 branches across England and Wales.  Turnover of £26.8m and employs 3444 staff.

37 jobs created by Glen Dimplex Group in Portadown

Glen Dimplex Group has created 37 advanced manufacturing jobs at its factory in Portadown, Northern Ireland as a result of the launch of a new energy system.  The Quantum system was developed by Glen Dimplex subsidiary Seagoe Technologies in a £2m investment.

45 new jobs as HOME Instead Senior Care expands into Harrogate, Ripon and Thirsk

Warrington based HOME Instead Senior Care, which provides care services for elderly people in their own homes, plans to create 45 carer jobs by the end of the year in the Harrogate, Ripon and Thirsk areas.
