Semiconductor manufacturer CML Microcircuits (UK)
has established a design engineering team in Sheffield as part of its on-going
expansion. The team will develop
services for wireless applications and will operate as an extension of its
existing Essex-based engineering department.

people.

Fashion retailer Internaionale has agreed a ten-year
lease for 6,338 sq. ft. at the St Stephens Shopping Centre in Hull. The store

J Smart & Co (Contractors) Plc. is planning a 1.69-hectare
business development on the former Pentad site in West Edinburgh. Phases one and two of the West Edinburgh

phase one scheduled for completion in spring 2014. The development could create employment
opportunities.

Fairline
Luxury boat builder Fairline invested in its
manufacturing facilities in Corby and returned to profit after making losses
since 2009. The manufacturing scale-up caps a successful turnaround
investment programme over the last 18 months.
The firm, which employs 700 people, made a profit of £3.7 million
turned round from a £6.7m loss the previous year.

Hills science park expansion means 150 new jobs expected
Malvern Hills Science Park is creating a further
25,000 sq. ft. of office space and potentially 150 jobs. The park already accommodates 23 businesses
employing 300 staff. Phase four, which is expected to generate an extra £1.3m
to £2m annually for the local economy, is expected to start in late 2013.

Technology company RepKnight, based in Drumbo, is to
invest almost £1m as its targets new export markets. The business has secured £338,500 from
Invest NI, which includes part funding from the European Regional Development

assist with overseas marketing activities.
