new nursery site with funding from Lloyds TSB. The new Nursery is in Leeds
city centre, and will provide pre-school education for 67 children requiring
25 staff. The company, managing director Jill Johnson, employs 85 people in
Yorkshire.

Dewsbury-based Magma Ceramics and Catalysts have
secured a £600K finance package from HSBC to support the development of a new
manufacturing facility in Vietnam. The
company has grown from a turnover of £1.6m in its first year of operation to
£6m in 2012 and is on course to generate sales of £10m in 2013. The company
believes the Vietnam facility will be contributing up to £5m to turnover
within two years of operation.

Liverpool-based drugs discovery and development
company Redx Pharma is creating more than 120 jobs with the launch of a new
£10.5 million research and development facility in Cheshire. The new venture, Redx Anti-Infectives, which
received a £4.7 million grant from the Government's Regional Growth Fund,
will create 119 posts. A further 28 specialist roles will also be created
within the wider supply chain.

specialist KDC has completed a £3.8m refinancing with the Yorkshire
Bank. The cash will be used to fund

with Barclays Ventures, which still holds a stake. Turnover has grown from £14m to £24m and
there are now 140 staff.

by German group Bosch could expand threefold after going 24/7 this week. The
Bosch Communication Centre network has 25 global sites, including Liverpool,

around the world. The operation will grow to 200 employees by the end of the
year, with the option to treble in size.
