The
Discovery Park Ltd consortium is planning a major investment in the 297-acre
Discovery Park site in Sandwich, Kent, creating 3,000 jobs by 2017. The
development of the science and technology business zone is supported by Palmer
Capital. The consortium hopes to attract government scientific bodies, research
organisations and science and technology businesses to the site.
