Peel
Energy is to build a major wind farm in Widdrington, Northumberland. The wind farm will comprise nine turbines, each
126 metres-high. The installation will provide renewable energy and generate
£1.35m in local community benefits over its 25-year lifetime. Jobs could be created as a result of the
development.
