Regeneration
specialist St Modwen Properties has secured planning permission for a £20m
regeneration project of Skelmersdale town centre in Lancashire. The scheme will include a new five-screen
cinema, 26,000 sq. ft. of restaurants and shops, a 30,000 sq. ft. supermarket
and a petrol station. Three hundred and
fifty jobs are expected to be created.
