Harworth
Estates, the property division of UK Coal, is to develop a solar energy farm in
Askern, Yorkshire at a former colliery site, in partnership with renewable
energy businesses Re-Fin Solar and Juwi.
The 36-hectare site could generate enough electricity to power 4,000
homes. The development could create employment opportunities.
