Aberdeen-based
oil service company Sparrows is planning further expansion after being acquired
by US-based private-equity firm AEA Investors for more than £150m. AEA replaces London-based Close Brothers
Private Equity as the majority shareholder.
The expansion could create employment and business opportunities at the
£172m turnover firm.
