E.ON UK is to build a £12m wind farm at
Ovendon Moor, West Yorkshire. Nine,
377ft turbines will be built, replacing a wind farm of 23 turbines, less than
half the size, built in 1993. The
development could create employment opportunities. Turnover £9.2bn, 15,000
employees.
