West Midlands-based Intervate Ltd is
establishing a 3.5-megawatt renewable energy power plant after securing a
20-year lease on a 1.25-acre property in Cradley Heath. When fully operational in 2013 the plant will
produce enough electricity each year for 8,500 houses. Intervate is adding 15 employees to its team
of 7, to operate the plant.
