The Peel Group
is developing a manufacturing park for motor and rail industry suppliers at
Wirral Waters in Birkenhead. As an
enterprise zone, the 35-acre site is eligible for enhanced capital allowances
and is expected to attract overseas investors.
1,000 new jobs could be created by the development.
