Software
services group Tata Consultancy Service is to open a new facility in Liverpool
in the summer 2013, creating and safeguarding up to 300 jobs. The new facility will deliver services to the
Home Office, following a multi-million, multi-year contract which it won in
November 2012. It is not known how many
of the jobs are new positions as TCS is taking over a contract from outsourcing
group Capita.
