John Pointon, which recycles animal by-products, is building a £12m energy
resource centre, creating 50 jobs when it is completed in 2015. The facility,
which will allow the company to generate its own electricity, has already led
to the creation of 25 jobs, helping staffing levels to double to 180 over 8
years. Turnover £33.4m.
