Grid Solutions, which produces software to manage electricity networks, has
raised £3m from Scottish Equity Partners, University of Strathclyde, and
Scottish Enterprise. The funding will facilitate faster product development,
expansion into North American and European markets, new jobs, relocation to
larger Glasgow headquarters, expansion in London and opening an office in New
York. £2m turnover, 30 employees.
