Loksys,
a Manchester firm, which has developed Trakalok, a system for securing freight
containers, has secured £500,000 from The North West Fund for Venture Capital,
managed by Enterprise Ventures, in return for a minority stake in the
company. Loksys will use the funding for
product development, sales and marketing and to recruit additional staff.
