Viridor is to manage a Recycling and Renewable Energy Centre in Glasgow, which will create 254 jobs. Work will begin in summer on the £154m facility, which should be complete by early 2016. It will be able to treat 200,000 tonnes of green bin waste a year. Turnover £761.1m, 6,400 employees.
