LXB Retail Properties is to start a 50m
shopping development in Rushden, Northamptonshire, in early 2013. The plans
include 20 shops, restaurants, a lakeside visitor centre, a hotel, leisure club
and a boathouse. Up to 2,000 jobs could be created.
