Power
electronics company, Turbo Power Systems, has received the first instalment of
a £1.1m Regional Growth Fund grant, with the balance due on January 2014. The
company is to create 152 jobs over four and a half years, and invest in R&D
projects at its facility in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. Turnover £13.3m, 150 employees.
