Tonbridge retail and leisure project means potential new jobs

Sainsbury’s have submitted plans for a £70 million regeneration project in Tonbridge town centre in Kent.  Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council, as landowner, have agreed the plans in principle, which include a cinema, five shops, a Sainsbury’s supermarket and a leisure centre.  Hundreds of new jobs are likely to be created as a direct result.
