21 is to build an extra care-housing complex in Sunderland. The 104-apartment development will include a
convenience store, hair salon and restaurant.
Housing 21 has approached Beckwiths, a not-for-profit catering group
which employs disabled people, to run a restaurant at the site. The development
could create employment opportunities.
