Silver
Cross, the Yorkshire-based baby product manufacturer, recorded pre-tax profit
of £1m on sales of £22m in 2011.
Turnover increased from £19.8m in 2010 while pre-tax profit rose from
£881,000 following strong overseas growth. The company expanded into Central
and South America, while sales grew 47% in Asia. A new nursery range has been
launched in the UK.
