J&A Young is to create a processing plant and 50 new roles

J&A Young (trading as Jayplas) is to create a processing plant at a 69-acre site previously owned by AstraZeneca in Loughborough.
Fifty people will be employed at the site, and possibly more by March / April 2013.
A workshop will also accommodate the company’s fleet of 150 vehicles
J&A, employs 225 people and are the UK’s biggest plastics recycling company. It also has sites in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Birmingham and Grimsby, as well as a head office in Corby, Northamptonshire. It has a turnover of £43 million.
