Astra Games, a gaming machine manufacturer based in Wales, recorded turnover of £18.2m for 2011, up 33% compared with £13.6m in 2010. Pre-tax profit also increased, by 7% from £1.4m to £1.5m. Astra plans to expand in the pub, bingo and other gaming sectors, and will invest in new products for the pub sector.
They will also continue to introduce and commercialise new gaming machines in the casino, bingo and arcade sectors, whilst continuing to grow their very successful 100 per cent owned B2B internet gaming company, Greentube GmbH, based in Austria.
