Online games become recruitment tool in India

In India, online games are becoming a recruitment tool with large corporations such as L’Oreal asking candidates to play a game if they want to be considered for a role.
This is particularly targeted at graduates keen to enter the labour market.
Gaining popularity in India, gaming is being used as a tool for recruitment after having been longer established in the Western part of the globe.
Technology companies typically use games to test strategy, intuitiveness, logical reasoning, personality identification and problem-solving capacity of the candidates. Defence organizations create real-world scenarios in the form of games as part of the recruitment process.
