Outstanding Business Achievement award for 2 Sisters Food Group - 200 new jobs

Expanding food manufacturer 2 Sisters Food Group has won The Grocer Cup 2012 awarded by the Institute for Grocery Distribution in recognition of outstanding business achievement following its takeover of Northern Foods in 2011.  The company employs 1,000 people in Carlisle and this will increase to 1,200 in the run up to Christmas 2012.  Turnover £691.6m.
