United Welsh Housing Association has partnered
with repairs and maintenance contractor Mears to launch Celtic Horizons, a
wholly owned subsidiary that will handle all asset management services under a
15-year contract, worth up to £145m. The new company should be operational on 1
April 2013. The venture could create jobs.
