Power is in early planning stages of a £25bn project to build a Severn Barrage,
which could generate 5% of UK energy for 100 years, providing a reliable source
of renewable energy. The company would
assemble the turbines in Bristol and Wales, creating 20,000 jobs during a
nine-year construction period.
