£29m recovery plan in West Lothian means 3000 potential jobs

West Lothian Council has started a £29 million recovery plan, which will create 3000 jobs. £2.4m will be invested in each of the next five years to 2017, targeting the hardest-hit communities. 1700 jobs will be lost in the area when the Vion Food plant closes in February 2013.
