Dana Petroleum is to go ahead with a £989m
project to bring on stream two UK oil fields. The Department of Energy has
approved the Western Isles development of the Harris and Barra fields in the
northern North Sea. The project will
create 200 jobs, and a significant amount of supply, engineering and
construction work.
