Construction has been appointed to extend the Trelleborg Offshore UK factory in
Skelmersdale, Lancashire. The £2m contract includes a 40,000 sq. ft. steel
frame extension to an existing factory building. Globe Construction is working with structural
engineers, Clancy Consulting, and architects, Charter Design, on the
design-and-build contract, which could create employment opportunities.
